We finally made it to the New Year!! Now it’s time for my favorite time of the year. Sharing my top 10 favorite movies of the year. I have not seen EVERY movie that came out but I’ve seen my fair share.

10. Black Panther- I wasn’t a huge fan of the plot cause it has been done in other films but the action was shot perfectly and Chadwick is great as T’Challa. Hell even Michael B Jordan as Killmonger is one of my favorite Marvel villains now thanks to this.

9. A Quiet Place- There were moments where I would tense up or sweat while watching this. This proves that John Krasinski is just as good as a director and an actor. I’m curious what the sequel will be like (yes, it’s been confirmed by Krasinski himself.)

 8. Ant-Man and the Wasp- Filled with great action and tons of hilarious scenes, this is a must see for any Marvel fan. The villain’s motive isn’t that great but it doesn’t ruin the film at all. The mid-credit scene is a bridge way that hooks Infinity War and Endgame together.

 7. Thoroughbreds- Nobody talks or heard about this which is sad. It’s very unique and unpredictable. The two leads are great and the humor is always a hit for me. This is either you like it or hate. There’s no in-between.

 6. Game Night- Put Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams together, you get a laugh out movie that everyone will enjoy. It has comedy, action, romance, with twists and turns.

 5. Mission Impossible: Fallout- One of the best Missions yet! An action fan’s movie that never stops delivering fun no matter what. It’s official that Tom Cruise can still pull off crazy stunts at the age of 56.

4. Ready Player One- Steven Spielberg is the greatest director ever and still makes excellent movies! The story was perfect, cast was relatable, and the nostalgia is what made me love this film the most.

3. Infinity War- I have always wanted a dark Marvel film for years. I finally got what I wanted and was so surprised. The stakes are higher than ever now from what happened at the end. It’s surprising how many superheroes had their time to shine in a runtime of two hours and twenty-nine minutes.

2. Deadpool 2- Is it as amazing as the first? No, it’s just as amazing. Every time I watch this I either laugh out loud, fall to the ground while crying in laughter, or pausing it to catch my breath. Nobody can ever replace Ryan Reynolds as The Merc with the Mouth.

1. Bohemian Rhapsody- This is the last movie I saw in theaters cause no new movie could ever beat this. As a movie fan, it’s really good. As a Queen fan, it’s incredible. If Rami Malek doesn’t win Best Actor, that would be a horrible mistake.
